Answer: In NYS there has been new legislation on this coverage-it is no longer an optional coverage so we wanted to explain what it is! Supplemental spousal liability coverage is coverage on your auto that allows you to use your own liability coverage if your spouse is driving and gets into an at fault accident and you are injured.
